Performance based incentives provided to all ASHAs @ Rs. 2000/- per month
All the pregnant woman under Janani Sura ksha Yojana (JSY) are being paid with Rs. 600/- and incentive for ASHAs @ Rs. 700.00 for every delivery.
Set up Hospital Management Society in all islands and providing corpus grant, Annual maintenance grant and untied fund as grant in aid as per the approved norms for supplying essential Drugs, both Allopathic and AYUSH and infrastructure modification.
Established Village Health Sanitation Committee in all islands and providing grant in aid for carrying out the sanitation drive and cleanliness d rive etc. in the islands as per approved norms.
Strengthened all Health Institutions and provided 24 hours service delivery and addressed shortage of Doctors and Para medics. Under the Project 2 specialized doctors, 12 Medical Officers, 12 AYUSH Medical Officers and 111 paramedics are working as of now.
Fool proof control and containment operation are carried out against dreaded communicable deceases like Chicken Gunia, Dengue fever , Diarrheal diseases etc.
Covered more than 188 patients per year under Cataract Surgery under National Programme for Control of Blindness.
Distributed 5878 numbers of free spectacles for School children and Older Persons under NPCB & VI
338 Tuberculosis cases were treated under Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme.
Received TB Free Status ans Best Performing State Awards from Government of India
Smoking and Spitting in public places are banned under COTPA Act.
State Tobacco Control Cell (STCC) Lakshadweep, opened separate Savings Bank Account for COTPA violation under National Tobacco Control Programme.
Setting up of Island Level Coordination Committee and Combined Enforcement Squad. Three islands are started enforcement drive for COTPA violation in the FY 2020-21 and collected Rs.13502 as fine under NTCP.
Gutkha and Panmasala already prohibited in the UT of Lakshadweep under NTCP.
Provided compensation package to sterilized cases.
Achieved 100% immunization coverage against vaccine preventable diseases.
Organized IEC/ BCC programme in all islands coinciding with World Population Day, World TB day, Observance of Global Iodine etc.
